Phoebe Gloeckner

Phoebe Gloeckner's work was a great break from the usual work that we see in Monday afternoon lectures. While her graphic and wildly inappropriate pieces made me uncomfortable, they were also quite entertaining. Her work stirred whispers and laughs from the crowd, unlike every other lecture we have heard. On the other hand, her work was somewhat sexist and I wonder why she was chosen to present to college freshman. I did enjoy it though, and am certainly not complaining.
